BUILDING 5 UPDATE
The level 5 slab was poured in April, thanks to great weather, and the new building is coming together beautifully! The internal works and finishes are complete on level 2, which is the framing and services rough-in, and level 3 has commenced. Soon you’ll see the external finishes starting, so watch for the render and the tiles going up and the façade to start taking shape. Level 6 is also starting to come along, with the slab poured and ready for the next stage.
BUILDING 6 TO BE RELEASED EARLY DUE TO RECORD SALES

ANZAC DAY SERVICE
This Anzac Day, Anchorage had an amazing turnout for a beautiful and moving dawn service. Of course, last year the pandemic lockdown meant we couldn’t have the same community gathering, which made this one even more special. It was an honour to gather by the pool in the morning light with our community, and pay respect to our diggers. Thank you to everyone who served, made crafts and set up for our time together, too! |
CYCLING WITHOUT AGE AT ANCHORAGE
Cycling Without Age is a not-for-profit charity that provides free rides on trishaw ebikes so those who can no longer ride can still connect with their community and the outdoors. The service is offered entirely by volunteer cyclists with big hearts, including our own special Anchorage resident Sophia. To help CWA continue such a great service, Anchorage Management is donating a wheelchair- access bicycle. It’s on its way from Holland as we speak! We’re so thankful to be able to help. If you’d like to learn more about CWA, or become a bike pilot yourself, check out the link below or contact them on:

THE GARDEN IS BLOOMING!
In the last newsletter, we highlighted our volunteer Anchorage residents who have been working hard to restore our veggie and herb gardens. Now, you can see the fruits (excuse the pun) of their labour! Take a stroll through and smell the strawberries, tomatoes, capsicums, mixed herbs, snow peas, climbing beans and more. And of course, you’re welcome to pick and enjoy produce, while still being mindful of leaving some for other residents – even if it’s tempting to eat it all! If you’re keen to join the gardening team, have questions or would like to suggest produce to plant, please contact Russ on : 0430 541 161
