    BUILDING 5 UPDATE

    Works are continuing to push up the tower.

    We will be pouring level 8 slab this coming week on Thursday 1st July, top deck!.

    Internally we have nearly tiling on level 2, and will be moving to level 3 next week.

    Linings works are progressing well, and about to commence on level 4.

    Looking ahead into July, we will be commencing the basement construction on building 6, and also completing the roof steel / frame planed for July.

    A WARM WELCOME FOR GREG

    This month we welcomed new staff member Greg to the Anchorage team. To celebrate, we organised to have our residents gather at our local BoardWalk Tavern, for food and drinks. The turn out was great with 89 residents attending! We’re so excited to welcome Greg onboard.

    OUR FIRST INAUGURAL MENS BREAKFAST CLUB

    This month we had the pleasure of introducing our first ever Anchorage Inaugural Mens Breakfast Club together! We look forward to organising more of these kind of social events for our community in the near future.

    Our Book Club ladies missed their monthly book club luncheon due to lockdown. We look forward to next months Book Club to run on schedule!

    As for our Craft Morning Teas we are delighted to have not missed any so far. These Morning Teas have had quite the turn out of a usual 12 + residents sharing their love for scrapbooking, quilt making and even one of our residents sharing their skills of doll making with others.

    NAN'S TREATS @ ANCHORAGE

    Something exciting and yummy is coming to Anchorage! Nan’s treats is a small business run by one of our residents Shona and her son Kanei to deliver home cooked meals to your door. There’s a wide selection to choose from so place your orders today!

    SICKLE AVE UPDATE

    With the final, eastern gully pit being formed up, work is almost finished on the retrofitting of stormwater pipes and gullies in to Sickle Avenue. I expect the road re-seal will happen over the next couple of weeks. Thanks everyone for their patience around the workers.

    Take a look at our beautiful residents garden. The outstanding work of our resident gardeners does not go unnoticed! The current weather has had a great impact on the seasonal fruits and veggies you might see when visiting our gardens. Check it out for yourself!
