Meet our new onsite managers Julie & Geoff Gardner. Julie and Geoff have relocated to the Gold Coast from Bundaberg where they ran a successful property maintenance business.
Relocating with their two sons, their family is enjoying the lifestyle and culture change that the Gold Coast has to offer.
The Outdoor Furniture Has Arrived!
The outdoor furniture for the pool and amenity area arrived a few weekends ago and Julie, Geoff, their two sons and a few other dedicated Anchorage team members spent their Saturday unpacking and setting up the areas.
Trainer Trish Sullivan
Most of our residents have already met Trish at the amenities opening last year and during the classes that have been held over the past few weeks in the swimming pool, techno gym & yoga room. For those of you who haven’t, Trish has come on board as our onsite water aerobics, yoga/pilates & circuit class trainer.

Who am I:
From humble beginnings of teaching in community halls to owning our own gym and aquatic centre, working fulltime for the Australian Wallabies to providing classes to academics students and staff at Universities across our beautiful Nation, I have been in the fitness industry for over 35 years, and I remain as passionate about what I do now as what I was when I first started. A true love and belief in what you do equates to longevity in an industry. I love seeing a client leave a class in a better frame of mind or body or hearing that someone has achieved a personal fitness goal, it brings me a great sense of achievement and that wonderful feeling of maybe I have made a small difference in their life.
What I try to promote – Start Small and Take it Slow:
I encourage clients to start small when setting goals and to take it slow when adopting healthy habits for lifelong improvements. Achieving success with smaller goals and seeing the results motivates you to achieve much larger goals in the long term. Changing just one thing in your daily routine can make a big difference, sticking to that change can be life-changing. Those that are most likely to fail are the ones that go all in, they change everything and as a result, they may fail.
The brand new Anchorage bus has arrived and it has been wrapped so everyone knows who we are! We have already started planning trips and events for our residents to enjoy!
Our first event happened on Friday the 16th when we took 2 trips with our residents to the Links Golf Course, Hope Island to celebrate the Chinese New Year Street Festival!
