ANCHORAGE APARTMENTS DEVELOPMENT

FORGAN SMITH BUILDING 3 UPDATE

“Time seems to be flying since our last newsletter. We are pleased to confirm that progress on Stage 3 is on time and on budget, and still aiming for a Christmas completion. Once Stage 3 is completed we will relocate the crane across to Buildings 4 & 5 which will enable us to finalize the last small piece of landscaping for the Communal Facilities. Construction documentation for the rest of the project is almost complete with the last lot of upgrades & changes to the unit designs being negotiated and incorporated into the designs.
We’ll keep you informed as the project proceeds, with our next newsletter.

Yours sincerely
FORGAN SMITH ARCHITECTS (QLD) PTY. LTD.

STOKES WHEELER BUILDING 3 UPDATE

ANCHORAGE APARTMENTS DEVELOPMENT

“The project is proceeding well.

Roof frame and sheeting is completed, and cladding on level 9 well underway.  Render, external paint and balustrades are nearing completion.

Internally unit on level 2 and 3 (bottom two floors) are ready for carpets and final cleaning, and level 4-7 no far behind. And the lift installation has commenced.

We are heading towards scaffold drop commencing from Monday the 17th Sept. This will see progressive removal commencing on the Western face, then East, then South and North, which once all removed the tower crane and hoist will be dismantled and removed from the site.

We will then be getting stuck into the landscape works around the site and carpark area to the street frontage of the building.

We should have the crane and hoist being dropping in early October, and on track for an late December handover.”

RESIDENTS DAY TRIP

BUMBLES CAFE BUDDS BEACH

This past week we were able to organise to treat our residents to another bus trip around the Coast… One of our favourite stops was the amazing Bumbles Cafe at Budds Beach.

A massive thank you to Kate (the owner) for spoiling us with delicious, home made cakes as well as chicken and walnut finger sandwiches. Lovely chatting about social activities we can add to our Anchorage  Apartments.

ANCHORAGE RESIDENTS

We also visited the beautiful gift shop, Willow & Bailey, which is located next door to Bumbles Cafe.

We are now looking into starting a mahjong and bridge club as well as a walking group… So we can all enjoy the waterfront boardwalk and get to know one another better.
