STAGE 4 CONCRETE POUR

Stokes Wheeler poured the basement of Anchorage Stage 4 on the October 1. The day was successfully run by a well organised site team who had planned for this day weeks in advance.

During the day, there were two concrete pumps, 16 concreters and 140 concrete trucks required to complete the basement slab totalling a final figure of 850 cubic meters of concrete. The site team is now be progressing onto the vertical columns and external block walls where they will be poured with concrete in the next few weeks.

Once these works have taken place, the level 1 form work will commence in anticipation for the next big concrete pour.

The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is planning three new rail stations on the Gold Coast Line at Pimpama, Helensvale North and Merrimac to help connect South East Queensland’s growing population.

Concept designs have been prepared and we are seeking feedback and local knowledge to help further develop the concept designs. The Helensvale North Station will be located next to Mangrove Jack Park, off Hope Island Road.

For more information regarding the concept designs for each station and how you can provide feedback, please visit the project website: https://crossriverrail.qld.gov.au/stations-routes/gold-coast-line/
