STAGE 4 - LEVEL 4 SLAB POUR COMPLETE
The past month has been very tiring with the nearly constant wet weather.
We have managed to complete the level 4 slab pour, and are well underway with masonry and columns to support level 5. We have also despite the rain managed to progress building 5 ground stabilization works. The works have included the removal of more than 20,000 tonnes of marine mud and replace with crushed rock. Works will shortly be commencing on concrete slabs for this building.
Level 2 frameworks are also well underway with most units on this level now framed.
CORONA VIRUS - HOW TO STAY SAFE
In this time, we need to prioritize our health and well being above everything in order to keep our residents as safe as possible. We are doing our best to ensure that we minimize the risk of anyone within our community to transfer Covid – 19. We have supplied each lobby of every building with sanitizers, gloves, and hospital-grade antiseptic wipes. Please be mindful of your social distancing as this also plays an important role in how to stop the spread.
ANCHORAGE GUIDELINES TO PROTECTING YOURSELF :
– Wash your hands with soap and sanitize regularly.
– Keep a social distance of at least 1.5 M from surrounding people
– If you are experiencing symptoms please contact your GP to warn them of your visit.
We will continue to provide our updates as needed.
The Library has been restocked with new reading material and books and some brand new jigsaw puzzles for residents.
We are currently working on organising an online breathing and meditation class exclusively for Anchorage residents to ease stress and continue to socialise from a distance.
We understand that this is a tough period of time for everyone so please be mindful of your own hygiene for the sake of others 🙂

SELF ISOLATION
If you have recently traveled overseas or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, you are required to Self- isolate for a minimum of 14 days. If any of our residents are required to self – isolate due to overseas travel, contracting Corona Virus or being exposed to someone with Corona Virus, please ensure Geoff & Julie are aware of this. If you have to self – isolate or are choosing not to venture outdoors and need assistance, please advise us and we will do our best to assist.
OFFICE CLOSURE
The office is closed until further notice. please ring our onsite managers for emergencies. please phone 1300 075 432 for apartment sales enquiries.
CLEANING
Our team has been increasing the cleaning of at-risk surface areas throughout the complex. If all residents practice good hygiene and observe health alerts and guidelines then we will be prepared to get through this with minimum disruptions.

PUB CHOIR
A few days ago we a group called Pub Choir asked the internet to stop misery scrolling for a moment, and to sing! Over 1000 people from 18 countries submitted a video of their performance of “Close To You” (Burt Bacharach) in just TWO DAYS.

We drove into Anchorage this morning and after all the rain, storms and humid weather we thought what a great place this is to live. So many nice people , great facilities, and wonderful caring people like yourselves and your staff working here.
The gardens looked amazing as we drove in, the pool was looking good, the gym and barbeques etc. all so clean.
