STAGE 4 - LEVEL 3 SLAB POUR COMPLETE

We have completed the level 3 slab pour which was placed in 20.1.2020. The masonry works, and columns for level 4 are already in place, with formwork being striped from L3 deck commencing this week.

We have also commenced the excavation works for the basement of building 5. The ground stabilisation works are underway over the next week or two.

Hoping for some cooler weather!

GARDEN UPDATE

The garden expansion is well underway. A new garden bed has been placed within the gardens, hopefully bringing lots more variety of fruits and vegetables for the months to come!

DAY TRIP TO BYRON

This month the Anchorage team took a day trip down to The Farm in Byron Bay. The Farm utilizes the subpod composting bins of which we will be installing within the following months, so we thought that it would be a great chance to learn more about how they are used and all the benefits surrounding them. We also took away a lot of inspiration on what we can plant in our gardens in the future and we even purchased seedling packets so we can vegetables, flowers, and fruits!

AUSTRALIA DAY!
In celebration of Australia Day Anchorage organized a get-together for residents to enjoy baked goods and fresh pies and sausage rolls supplied by Main Beach Bakery. This was a great chance to get residents together, and everyone had a wonderful time!

WELCOMING OUR NEW RESIDENTS
MEET GARETH

Hi, my name is Gareth Ward, I work for StokesWheeler and I am currently the site manager for the Anchorage Apartments Development site at Hope Island.
I started on the Anchorage project mid-way through the construction of Building 1 and have be involved in all the stages up to Buildings 4 which we are currently building and is due for completion later this year.

I enjoy working at the Anchorage site and with the Anchorage team and it has been enjoyable to watch the different stages of the project get completed and the community grow as the buildings start to become occupied.

I am looking forward to continuing to be involved with the Anchorage project through to its Final completion.
